Mason's Progress

Mason went to his first speech therapy appointment since his surgery on Friday. I was so excited to tell her how well he is doing! We love hearing him say words even though they are not 100% clear. I have not been good about writing down when he says them for the first time so I wanted to post the list that I took with me, so I can remember that at twenty one months of age he was saying these 22 words; ball, catch, car, crash, truck, no, stop, don't, mom, Bella, Mimi, outside, go, all gone, all done, down, off, fish, thank you, please, more, banana. Those are the words that he says on his own now but he does repeat almost everything that you say to him. He is also doing a lot better with his eating. The speech therapist gave us some good ideas on a feeding schedule and foods to feed him. Over the weekend he was quiet the pig! He has gained one pound on his own since surgery and I hope all this good progress keeps up!
